I will not be going to this one, my family is here from 3 different states and we're lucky if we see each other once a year.

To all you May 22nd bday boys...happy happy

Just got a text from a buddy of mine. 2 guys from the cross creek club will be at the open tomorrow. Jimmy Garret and Durant Blanton. Jimmy can fish I know for a fact and ALL the Blanton boys are fishing fools. This is not a team to be taken lightly.

Cross Creek lol.. you mean Cedar Creek.  They are in my other club.  There are a few others from my other club coming out.  None of those teams can be taken lightly.  There are about 3-4 local teams coming also.  Gonna be a shoot out!

Well, we had a good turnout today, 12 boats total, don't know the names of the guys who won but they had a little over 15lbs. Brian and Jake were high finishers for the club, they had 10.18 and took 3rd, steve and swish took 5th with 9.78 and me and tommy had 6th with 9.71. Lots of fish were caught, I know we caught quite a few but couldn't find the big ones. My trolling motor went down about 7am, so I was big motoring and power poleing it all day but we still managed a limit which was pretty cool. I like the lake but big fish always seem to allude me out there.

Big fish will come.  I suspect they are out a little deeper than I fished.  Soon they will be moving to the very BACK of the docks.  Something I learned a while ago.  Fun tournament.  I suggest Tuckertown next?  lol
