About to pull the trigger on Lowrance
« on: September 12, 2013, 07:36:21 pm »
Slight change if you are interested. I know it is right after Christmas and all.

Here is the change. I now have a HDS 7 and 5 GEN1 available. No LSS unit though. Have to figure out the wiring of the two new units. Both come with the bracket, boxes, books, covers, and ducers. Both have the "baseMap" option and works better with NAV cards.

$450 for the 7, $300 for the 5.

Going onto EBAY and BBC later in the month.

Just taking up room in the garage now that I have the Gen 2 touch on the bow and the Gen 2 8 at the helm.

The HDS7 touch is nice, but this the first year out, and with all the grease and dirt I got on my hands fishing I decided not to get the touch just because the screen get so dirty so fast and may scratch up.

I would be interested in you 5.

Ron, bring the 135 to tourney. We'll talk about it. Anything better than the x47 that came with boat.

Should have same plug that I have. My Elite 4 does. Mainly use x47 on bow for depth. But it still sucks.

I have the x-125 on my bow. It works ok. Mainly just for finding bottom. In certain cases it will pick up big balls of shad. I might not have settings adjusted right idk. I would be maybe interested in the HdS5 to put on my bow. Depends on the price. Let me know when you crunch the numbers.

Ok, guess I'll throw my name in the hat as well.  I need a better unit up front as well as mine is F'd.  Whatever Jake bids for it I will up it by 1 dolla.

Hold the freak on boys... Go to the 3 POST and you will see I had first dibs on the 5.
It is up to Ron if he will honor me calling first dibs or not.

All I need is a price from Ron... I want a 5

The ones that link to iPads are pretty cool. Makes me want to get a new one.
